Student Ministries

“Let the children alone, and do not hinder them from coming to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these”
Matthew 19:14 (NASB)

STUDENT MINISTRY

At Charity we believe that we should do everything that we can to bring students to Jesus Christ. We have various ministries for them to participate in including Student Trips, and Student Classes in Sunday School and on Wednesday Nights.

How Your Child can be Involved

Children's Church

Children in preschool through 2nd grade have the opportunity to learn about God’s Word through age-appropriate Bible lessons during Sunday Worship. Children’s church takes place during the time Pastor Scott is preaching. The children learn about Jesus and His Word and have snack time, crafts, and recreation time.

Weekly Small Group Bible Study

Sunday School is offered each week from 10:00 to 10:45. During this time students are grouped with others their age while learning the truths of God’s Word and having an opportunity to get to know each other better. Wednesdays Bible Study begins at 6:45. Much like Sunday School, Wednesday Bible Study gives the students an opportunity for Bible Study and fellowship. Often on Wednesdays, we also have crafts or recreation time.

Vacation Bible School

VBS takes place each summer. It is a week filled with fun activities centered around learning about Jesus. Each night of VBS we meet together for a meal and then have rotations that include Bible Study, crafts, games, and missions. Each year we choose a missions project to support.

Student Ministry Outings

Throughout the year we have various student ministry outings. Some examples from the past are trips to Medieval Times, escape rooms, mini golf, concerts, Brave’s games, and the aquarium. These trips are announced ahead of time during Sunday Services and in the bulletin that is available each Sunday. Be sure to listen out for upcoming events!
